Berlin, 17.06.2016: After receiving the German Design Award, the GOOD DESIGN Award, and the red dot, the LUCTRA® LED lighting system is being honoured with another important award. At the German Brand Award 2016 ceremony at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin, LUCTRA® project manager Jonathan Brune accepted an award in two categories. LUCTRA® received an award in the Living category for its brand concept and consistent communication and positioning as well as the Newcomer Brand of the Year Award.
According to the Jury, “The lighting’s effect on people is consistently at the heart of LUCTRA® brand communications. LUCTRA® wins people over with its modern, minimalist design vocabulary and high-quality materials. The strong, descriptive name for this newcomer-series suggests technology and expertise and reflects its formal aesthetics nationally and internationally”.
“We are not only happy that we brought something new to the market from a technical perspective with LUCTRA® but that we are receiving recognition for the positioning and design of the brand”, said Jonathan Brune.
LUCTRA® is the new brand for personal lighting at the professional workplace and in demanding homes. Its proven biologically active LED light synchronizes people’s internal clocks and supports well-being and performance. LUCTRA® lamps can be adjusted to the user’s individual needs and operated via a touch panel integrated in the body of the lamp and via an app. This makes light into a personal tool that has been freed from the work station for the first time. The LUCTRA® product line includes table lamps, floor lamps and portable lamps.
The German Brand Award is the seal of quality for successful brand management in Germany. The goal of the competition, which is founded by the German Design Council, is to discover and present pioneering brands and brand creators and honour them with awards.
