Dörken - Efficient lighting with variable light Control
Ewald Dörken AG combines two large operational units under one umbrella brand. Dörken Coatings GmbH & Co. KG specialises in high-performance solutions for corrosion and surface protection, decorative design and tinting technology. Dörken GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures high-quality system solutions for wind and moisture protection in pitched roofs and on façades, foundation wall protection and waterproofing solutions for building components with ground contact, as well as water-retaining and draining systems for urban architecture.
In 2020, the Dörken Coatings staff moved into a new, modern office building. The challenge in planning and selecting an appropriate lighting solution was to create a balanced combination of ambient lighting for the premises and the option of installing user-oriented lighting in places.
After careful consideration, LUCTRA® VITAWORK was chosen to achieve this goal. "When it comes to designing office lighting, the key aspects are compliance with occupational health and safety requirements on the one hand, and user-friendly operation on the other. The efficiency of the lighting combined with the variable lighting control was what won us over." explains Esther Straube, Head of Facility Management at Dörken.
LUCTRA® VITAWORK brings the latest LED technology to the workplace. The LEDs built into the lamp head provide energy-efficient illumination via a light panel with either symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution. VITAWORK® is therefore also suitable for illuminating larger and more spacious offices. The LUCTRA® floor lamp fulfils the requirements of both the DIN EN 12464-1 standard and the German workplace ordinance ASR 3.4.
