Iserlohn, 05.12.2023: The Institute for Health and Ergonomics (IGR) has awarded LUCTRA® TABLE LITE the "Ergonomic Product" test seal. The IGR thus confirms that the table lamp from LUCTRA® has a positive effect on health, well-being and performance in the workplace.
Well-being and performance through visual ergonomics
Ergonomic workstations are playing an increasingly important role in today's working world. Desk-sharing workstations in the office or at home must allow different users to adjust their desk height, sitting position and monitor position. Acoustic systems are being installed to absorb high noise emissions and improved ventilation and air conditioning systems to support better air quality. However, lighting, which is also a key aspect of workplace ergonomics, is often overlooked.
An optimum lighting solution at the desk adapts the lighting conditions to the user's inner rhythm and illuminates the workplace optimally without dazzling. The light from the LUCTRA® TABLE LITE desk lamps focuses on people's needs. The light imitates natural daylight and thus provides important stimuli for a stabilised internal clock. It can be adjusted to individual requirements (variable light colour and brightness) and thus supports both performance and rest phases. The user works more effectively and feels more comfortable.
The latest LED technology not only ensures the best quality of light, but also fulfils legal requirements thanks to particularly uniform and bright illumination of the workplace (900 lm).
In addition to the quality of light, the versatile adjustability of the luminaire supports an ergonomic posture at the workplace. Two smooth-running joints and the swivelling head make it easy to adjust the luminaire to suit individual body height and type of work.
Seal of approval provides decision-making support
The IGR supports companies and authorities in the design of humane working environments, whether in administration, production or in mobile working situations. To this end, the Nuremberg-based organisation evaluates work equipment, devices and installations in terms of functionality and practical feasibility. The test seal is used by investors and end users as a guide and decision-making aid for ergonomic products.
move to LITE: light adjustment by gesture control
The latest member of the LUCTRA® luminaire family was only launched on the market in October. In addition to the particularly light and delicate design of the aluminium table lamp, LUCTRA sets new standards with its three-dimensional gesture control. The light can be adjusted and regulated with simple hand movements below the lamp head. The built-in sensor converts the movement into switching on and off, light colour and brightness.
The playful control is a great advantage in the daily use of LUCTRA® light.
